"Boyracers" is particulary good.

Larsen B
I've read the Damaged Land: New Scottish Gothic Fiction which was edited by him. Like Ballads of the Book, it varied considerably in quality.

Like Ballads of the Book, it varied considerably in quality.Hi Larsen,With regards to Ballads of the book what do you mean by quality? Is it in terms of song writing, recording or songs?I ask because I found the CD to be really listenable, really inspring and uplifting.I couldn't fault a single song. Although I agree with Ross that Aereogramme, M. Middleton and strike the colours were great tracks.Cheers,Ollie
Larsen B
Song writing. Some very unimaginative compositions on it I think. Not a fan of the songs by Aerogramme, Mike Heron, Norman Blake, Karine Polwart (credit for the crap words goes to Edwin Morgan though), Vashti Bunyan or Emma Pollock.
