TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
For some reason, Firefox has decided to clear a lot of my saved passwords to numerous websites (including this one), meaning that I've had to re-enter data. Now, when I re-open Firefox, I am not automatically logged into this site (amongst others). Instead I have to click log in onto the main page. What has happened? I know its a small thing, but it is bugging me. Where can I change it back to automatically logging me into sites?
Chris
When you log in tick the checkbox beside your username and password.
Skacel
Try going to tools then options then checking either the privacy or security options. There's some stuff in there about saving passwords etc.
Jim Stax
I've noticed that my pop-up blocker is not working to well these days not to mention being redirected to odd sites from a direct google link. Common to anyone else? Bloody porn site nearly opened in front of my son yesterday:swearing: after clicking on the link to Robert Gordon College:swearing::swearing:

However, that's a Firefox 3 thing so maybe you don't see that. What version are you using? Also make sure that under Tools -> Options -> Privacy you have "Accept Cookies From Sites" checked and "Keep until" set to "they expire". This is very strange, I've clicked boxes on numerous sites (again including this one) to remember my details, but when I close Firefox I have to click on the log in section. This is annoying me quite a lot, I haven't done anything!
MattJimF
it may be a bit of a hassle but as your having to sign in anyway, try deleting the cookies of the sites your having problems with, if your having problems with them all just delete them all. You can do this under the show cookies option in privacy tab under options
