kirsten
I love Charlie Brooker too hard. The gore didn't get any reaction from me until the fire extinguisher bit. Gah!
black_matter
I made the assumption that it was going to be gash when I saw the trailers. Glad to see I didn't waste my time watching it then!Seriously though, how do the tv folks get away with such complete and utter pish ideas?! kirsten
Are you actually gonna criticise it after not having watched it? It wasn't as good as I was hoping, but still pretty well done. Especially written by someone who has never written that type of thing before. I'm gonna reserve total judgement until the last episode is finished though. No doubt ill catch a repeat of it at some point though.Edit: I'd also probably say dead set is a pish idea regardless of if i'd watched it or not. I mean come on...they must be scraping the barrel for ideas!
RF Scott
I've been enjoying it, but then I like zombie things. It's not just 'chucking' Big Brother and Zombies together (not like you can call in on a Friday night to vote for your favourite one or anything), it's just the starting point for the drama to unfold, and it was done pretty well, considering that the housemates don't know what's going on in the outside world... Paulscoconutass
Pretty pish considering how much of a legend Charlie Brooker is in Screenwipe, Brass Eye and almost everything else he's touched.Would have been an ace Halloween special or film... pretty gash to spread it over 5 nights though.Only good thing I got from the first episode was the insight into the backstage of television production (or at least Big Brother). Other than some pretty good black comedy moments the rest was pretty generic and unoriginal.
Lemonade
I would like to see this as I'm a huge fan of zombie movies. Alas, I moved into a new flat in August and the TV aerial is broken, I still haven't gotten round to getting it fixed yet.

TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
I'm going to watch it on 4od (as my digital reception is still royally fucked). I'll generally watch anything with a zombie in it...I am now planning on doing this too. You can't beat zombies and Charlie Brooker has a good track record with me for entertaining stuff. Panda Strong
I've been really enjoying this.Zombies are rad, and it's giving me something to actually sit down and watch in the evenings. Which is always FUN!
Le Stu
Just watched the first one. It's not that bad but it is pretty unoriginal. I quite enjoyed watching a certain TV person getting her throat chomped though
Alkaline
It was quite good last night. It's very pulpy/b-movie which is what appeals to me most i think.
kirsten
I quite enjoyed watching a certain TV person getting her throat chomped though Funnily enough, I think quite a few people have shared this view... I've not got round to watching episode three yet, but will do so now. Is it bad that I think Patrick, the producer is excellent?

kirsten
I've just unwittingly proposed to dear Charlton Brooker via the interwebs due to the fact that two moments in the series so far have nearly made me vomit, which so many things fail to do to me these days! Is it bad that I think Patrick, the producer is excellent? No, I think he's great too! It's probably because he's a prick. In situations like the zombie apocalypse, everyone else is potentially a prick, whereas pricks are already there and so you pretty much know where you stand with them.I'm not sure if that's in the handbook...
