KimyReizeger
If anyone hasn't experienced the marvel that is Benga I'm going to be focussing on his album Diary of an afro warrior tomorrow night on Aberdeen Student Radio from 7, so a good chance to hear some dubstep, even if my chat is the equivalent of having your faced boffed in by an insane horse-shoe wielding nutter from Buckie. Guest havona
There are a few different kinds of dubstep, some of it has a straight four to the floor beat and is easier to dance to if you are white and therefore without rhythm. I actually do a dubstep night every second thursday in Origin and play a lot of it at my Hush Hush night (also at origin every second Saturday) Skream is not the only Dubstep artist we have in the pipeline btw. I'm working on a Dubstep mix right now so i will post it in this thread when it is finished.you fool.....?????? check my mate D1

Le Stu
I'm not sure I'm hugely into dubstep yet but I'm diggin' d'n'b producers crossing over and doing dubstep tunes. The Chase and Status album has a couple of belters on it.

The Kernel Loaf
You should check out FabricLive 37 with Caspa and Rusko. I'd say that is the best representation of the various sounds of dubstep out there. Also, I am fairly digging Skreamism vol. 5 at the moment:YouTube - Skream - Rimz

Elizabeth
My next question is how you dance to this???My 'dubstep dance' is kind of just like a slow bop, along with the beat, with the occasional jazz-hands.My friends have tried and tested this method of dance and feel it may catch on. It's very simple and obviously looks damn cool.Benga and Skream are ones I'd recommend, purely because they're the only two I've listened to more than once. Not that I'm completely opposed to silly dancing to hilarious wobble tunes, but I just can't drink like that any more...

Inspiration taken from people on E at festivals; you know the ones.

Jaaakkkeee
Did this thread die at the exact same time that Dubstep erupted into the charts? Haha.Anyway, I've been getting back into dubstep and wondered if anyone could recommend some stuff? I seem to stick to a couple of labels and never venture out.Really enjoying these at the moment though:
