Soda Jerk Posted May 5, 2014 Report Share Posted May 5, 2014 I've gone a bit wild and picked up a second hand Marshall 5210 combo. It's a SS version of the JCM800, and was one of Marshall's first run of SS amps. You wouldn't believe this is the same company that churned out the Valvestate and MG amps, when this thing is nothing alike. Nice stabbing cleans, and smooth ACDC-like overdrive. It's a 1x12 in an oversized enclosure, so it sounds big. The bottom end is surprisingly boomy, without getting into farty territory. It takes fuzz with a downtuned guitar with ease.
