Huw Posted July 24, 2008 Report Share Posted July 24, 2008 oh that was ace. i'm listening again. like you say the bass is a wee bit high in the mix. get away with it for the most part i'd say.because everything is so low the vocals contrast everything really welll. nice amount of gain on them as well. just an all round well written song. well excited for the fully mixed/mastereed/whatevs version.put it out on a smart splitz with another scottish band please. But this doesn't grab you at all, the mix is way too muddy and cluttered to be much good, and to be brutally honest, sounds like the person that did the mix was either in a hurry or couldn't be arsed.
