Cel Mr is the Aberdeen International Youth Festival's young traditional big band, made up of some of the most promising young traditional musicians from not only Scotland, Canada and the USA.

Ceol Mor will perform original and innovative arrangements of traditional Scottish songs and music as well as original work exploring the margins between traditional music, jazz and contemporary classical music, including a new piece for voices, as well as reviving The Wife o Kelso, a piece commissioned by Ceol Mor from Corrina Hewat, which was premiered at last years festival, and performed again at Celtic Connections earlier this year.
