jcn
Crombie Johnston is good for your first year, but is way more expensive than Hillhead. Or you could try the accomodation on linksfield road. If you don't mind going further out but still want something nice you could try king street and spring gardens that are run by Unite. Or try Ardmuir, they are a great company: Student Accomodation Aberdeen - Ardmuir Limited

Cloud
Don't go near Spring Gardens, it's absolutely dreadful. If you want to live in a prison camp, it's great, but otherwise...stay clear! Likewise with the Don Street ones. But if she's staying in halls, if she can, the best bet is trying to get into RGU's own halls..the tower at Garthdee is really nice

paime
Long live Burnett House at Hillhead!! But your friend cant stay there cos they're at RGU. Woolmanhill was always good from what i was told. It had a problem with std's though. Nobody knew which came first - woolmanhill student halls or woolmanhill GUM clinic...
