TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
I was looking through myspace and came across this band, and I had a look at their entry on wikipedia. They seem quite good; any pointers as to the best album to buy?MySpace.com - Don Caballero - PITTSBURGH, US - Rock / Rock / Rock - www.myspace.com/doncaballeropgh
Panda Strong
Buy these three STRAIGHT away. Go go go;Don Caballero 2What Burns Never ReturnsAmerican DonStay clear of the new Don Cab cos it ain't Don Cab! It's just an outlet for Che to be unbelievably obnoxious.Details on How to Get Iceman on Your License Plate is, like, totally the best track ever. "bow bow, bow BOW, bow BOW, bow booooow" (terrible interpretation of guitar!).
qzdiablo
i have don cab 2 on my laptop, its the one everyone says is the best one to listen to firstisn't one of the old line-up in battles now (ian williams?)
framheim
just to say the newest don cab album isn't shit and it's worth buying if you like that kind of thing but it's not as good as earlier don caballero stuff. the only original member left is che the drummer who hired what were basically a don cab tribute band to back him. still worth a listen though.ian williams is indeed in battles and being a damn sight more inventive than the current incarnation of don caballero. Surfer_Rosa
Pitchfork: ForkcastDoesn't sound too promising to me.
all_his_engines
The track sounds alright, not a lot bass in the mix though. But I wouldn't trust Pitchfork if they told me the sky was blue. The only Don Cab album I've heard is "World-Class Listening Problem", which I actually thought was very good. I have, of course, been told that their earlier work is much better.
