Billy Nasty has long been surfing dance music's vanguard. He has a passion for quality dance music but also realises the importance of a party, of a packed room where everyone's letting rip. We live in exciting times for electronic music and Nasty's regular performances at Fabric reminded him lately of his ever-changing role. 'Fabric know I can come up with a valid contemporary angle,' he explains, 'I play techno, minimal and electro but I'm at my happiest fluctuating between styles, a million miles away from that bang-bang unforgiving techno'.

Hush Hush is about bass so expect to hear it in whatever form it takes whether it be Bmore, Fidget, Ghettotech, 4x4, Dubstep, Electro or Techno. If it bangs it's gonna get played. Future guests include Hudson Mohawke (Warp Records) L-Vis 1990 (Trouble and Bass) Pirate Soundsystem, Jackmaster (Dress To Sweat, Wireblock) Rustie (Dress To Sweat, Warp, Wireblock) Bok Bok and Manara (Lower End Spasm, No Homo) and many more

Resident at Hush Hush, Giles has been a dj for over 9 years and has dj'd at Lifestyle, Kia Aura, Jungle Nation, Wax, Sister, Resist and many other Aberdeen based nights. He has also guested at nights in Glasgow, Edinburgh, St Andrews and London. He was the dj for an Aberdeen Breakdance crew and played at a few of the Scottish B Boy championships.

It was a good night, plenty of cool feedback. We had just under 300 in, not too bad for a Thursday. Billy Nasty tonight and Giles Walker who played a stormer at the opening on Saturday.

Really enjoyed it last night... Billy Nasty was great (unfortunately missed Giles).
