kirkt
GFN? presents...Astpai Blasting out of a dirty basement's rehearsal room comes the straight forward punkrock sound of Austria's very own ASTPAI. Think of Paint it Black meets Kid Dynamite meets None more Black. Never lacking a sense in melody and sing-a-longs, this heavy rocking hardcore/punk sound comes along with strong political views and offers some new ideas without just presenting shallow paroles and drained statements. This young band managed to release 3 full length releases in the past and is now holding their strongest release to date in hands called Corruption Concealed (under deceptive slogans), released by Rise or Rust records for Austria and Fond of Life records for the rest of europe. US release by Jump Start Rec. is in sight. www.myspace.com/astpaiplus local support from:Contra: Dub-tinted ska-core www.myspace.com/contrarockEscape To Victory Melodic hardcore punk mash-up www.myspace.com/escapetovictoryukToxic Distortion Raw, sleazy, garage punk 'n'roll www.myspace.com/toxxicdistortion@ Cafe Drummonds16th June 20087.30pm - 11pm4 entry
