Ivy Originals - Aberdeen Legends

Chris Lake, Cheynie, Skelp, Bruce Catto & Dave Begg - 31/5/08

Ivy originals is a party we throw in Aberdeen to give the Citys serious clubbers the opportunity to hear the cream of their local resident DJ's. We are really chuffed to throw this special one-off party which is a celebration of the best DJ's to come from Aberdeen over the past 10 years.

Headlining we're really pleased to announce a special home coming appearance of Superstar DJ, Producer and Artist Chris Lake. Now one of the worlds most in demand DJs with more air miles than your Neil Armstrong, his distinct electro house sound is heard on just about every cool dance floor around the world via his productions and remixes.

Warming up for Chris will be Ableton King, Bruce Catto. In recent years Bruces style has evolved with the technology he uses so expect to hear a cool house groove warming up your night to compliment Chriss set.

Room 2 Aberdeen Club Classics

Cheynie, needing no introduction the Ivy resident now also busy with a radio show and other residency will be on hand to drop some of the classics youve heard dropped by the likes of Lashes, Halliwell, Picotto, Tall Paul and Savage over the years at Ivy parties.

Skelp, the first DJ to ever play an Ivy party and Dan-Sin resident and with regular guest spots around Europe is back for a special classics set programmed from a selection of tougher techno and harder house favourites.

Dave Begg, although Dave is now resident in Edinburgh, (with a club residency at Beetroot) he is a legend of the Aberdeen scene being a resident all those years ago at Skank as well as his own Area51 nights. Having played all around Europe and the Soviet Union were please to have in back in Aberdeen playing a classics set from the tougher edge of techno music.
