Lemonade
oh rexy your soooo sexy!!Cant wait!!!! Have you seen the Fan Edition before? It's got 20 minutes of deleted scenes put back in. Plus more deleted scenes in the extras, the one with Rex Manning playing with Berko's band on the roof is ace! God I love Empre Records. The guy who plays Mark is one of the people that I get told regulary that I look like. Also see:Jason PreistleyJames Morrison (the singer not the footballer)Ed NortonMy dad. Ive actually never been this excited about getting a dvd."im gonna call my band mark but with a c cause my name is spelt with a k""always mess with their head"

Lemonade
I've been listening to the Empire Records soundtrack today in honour of this thread. I made my own special Fan Edition soundtrack and downloaded all the songs that are in the movie but not on the soundtrack CD, then combined it with the soundtrack CD to make one giant uber-nerdy Empire Records musical marathon.See below.God I love Empire Records. ca_gere
gonna go see the boat that rocked next tuesday, nice to see a richard curtis film without hugh grant for a change! and the damned united if it comes to my local cinema!Looking forward to the damned united. Looks slightly hammy and over the top but I'm sure it'll be worth watching. The ITV documantary about him was excellent. It was interesting seeing football people like Martin Oneil speaking so frankly as we're so used to hearing them in formulaic, post-match 'game of two halves' type interviews. Monster Zero
Watched Brain Dead at the weekend comical zombie genius! Changeling, what a great movie. AJ was really great in it and I was totally getting annoyed by the whole set up, shouting at the police ha ha it was almost like a few movies at once, but then it was 2hrs20 long! The Cube, worst acting in a movie I have seen this year made in 1997 a bit like a cross between Saw & Krypton Factor, with not very much explanation on whats going on...had to watch it fully tho to see what happens Cube's a good film!I watched Zack and Miri Make A Porno the other night - some funny bits but not the best film he's done...does anyone else find Seth Rogen slightly overrated? He can be amusing enough but essentially plays the same character in every film he is in...
Monster Zero
watched last king of scotland last night. pretty good if a little grim for a friday night.I thought that was a pretty good movie. The bit when his wife's arms and legs positions got slightly altered was a bit fucked up though...
Captain America
Cube's a good film!I watched Zack and Miri Make A Porno the other night - some funny bits but not the best film he's done...does anyone else find Seth Rogen slightly overrated? Although he looks like he's doing something a bit different from his usual stoner/lovable loser character in , and it looks much better than his past few films. DJ Jo-D
Well Lovefilm are sending me my first two films off my list (which is already at over 50) - Lars and The Real Girl, and The Devils Rejects. Will watch and report back. Though I have just recevied series 7 of Family Guy in the post from Amazon so that might take priority.... lars and the real girl I found really funny!! it's a very dry, touching funny movie - altho not much happens, there's a good story I wasn't sure when I watched the first half hour or so, but really enjoyed it Started watching Orphanage but fell asleep, so will be revisiting that tonight
DJ Jo-D
Watched the remainder of The Orphanage last night, really quite enjoyed it, wee ghost story. I am learning Spanish just now and think I might order a heap of Spanish films from Lovefilms to see if I can improve a bit!Anyone got any good Spanish film recommendations? ca_gere
Anyone got any good Spanish film recommendations?Anything by Almodovar! Particularly "All About my Mother" and "Talk to her"Saw a very spanish comedy not long ago called "The other side of the bed." By very Spanish I mean most of it I didnt really 'get'. It was funny enough but the dialogue was mega fast so not sure how good it would be for learning. And of course... El Mariachi. The best film ever made with a budget of less than $20,000. I thought it was silly and over the top in a good way and, in my opinion Guy Richie is one of the best at filming violence. It's never too gory but you still wince and the music over the top allways fits the act perfectly. (see pen/bouncer scene and the lift shootout bit)
