Elizabeth
That is the gayest thing ever.I am willing to leave after Idlewild have played.Really, I'll go quietly.EDIT: Mr Reynolds, I have e-mailed you regarding the age limit of Stars in Moshulu. Guest idol_wild
I suggest the gig is 14+ and they use different coloured wristbands or something so that any under 18s can be detected once the club night begins.Idlewild have quite a legion of younger fans. It'd be unfair if they had to miss out.

black_matter
Make it a +14 gig. It's completely stupid not too and I want to see idlewild
Elizabeth
...unless of course you're willing to put on a special 14+ gig at Tunnels?

glennbuchan
Yeah I agree, I'm 18 now, but would be gutted to miss out on this if it was a year ago etc. I know lot's of people wanting to go to this who are 14-18!
Elizabeth
Surely making it 14+/16+ wouldn't screw you too financially over if you took the fivers of everyone below 18 going and put it towards the extra security costs or why ever it would be expensive to make it under 18?It's a difficult way of doing it, yes, but I'm trying here. ben_1903
i'd have been totally gutted had this been 18 plus when i was under 18...so you should make it 16+
KarmaTsunami
Stars. :'(Star's is over 18 as well? That's gash. I'm 22, but if I were 18 i would be totally devestated. It's bad enough having to go to Glasgow to see halfway decent touring bands...and when someone finally starts getting acts of a higher calibre to Aberdeen they're 18+ gigs? That's taking someone's biscuit. I've been tossed out of clubs after gigs before when I was under 18, and not been bothered by it.It's a shame that loads of fans seem like they're gonna miss out because of 'hassle'
Old Gold
I agree with letting the younger folks in as Idlewild were one of the first bands to get me listening to music with passion when I was much younger than 18.
RF Scott
It does seem a very bizarre gig to have an over 18's age restriction, given the amount of gigs at Moshulu that are 14+, and how many under 18's like Idlewild.

Elizabeth
Star's is over 18 as well?Yep, I e-mailed seeing if they could lower the age restriction aswell, but apparently it'd be too expensive.

KarmaTsunami
Well i'm not going to be able to get a ticket. Unless folk are selling them/can't go nearer the time. Keep me in mind.
Guest idol_wild
Idlewild!Yet another band that should be bigger than they are!I dunno. They've made it pretty big in my eyes. I'm sure none of them are short of a bob or two.I first saw them in 1998 at Glow 303, and since then I've seen them around 10-15 times, in venues of varying sizes, and they've sold out every single show.I'd say they're a pretty big band. allstardawn
stars are playing moshulu?! although i'm 20, it's not far that it's 18+. i know if i'd have been under 18 when this was announced i'd be totally gutted, but the idea of the wristband thing is good, and just making sure anyone underage leaves when the bands finish?but oh my god, a dj set after? roll on the 29th! Idlewild helped me discover music, this was when I was about 14, people this age should be given this oportunity to see them.Thought they were amazing at the Music Hall, can't wait for 29th now.
