Clyde
Hi, Did anyone go and see Deacon Blue last night at the AECC? I was unable to go and was wondering if it was a good concert? Thanks, Clyde.

Chris
I'm fairly sure he's still playing drums for them, in between his BBC work of course.

TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
Wouldn't it have been incredible if he had played a drum solo? I'd pay to see that, it would be mindblowing.
Bigsby
I saw them at the Capitol circa 1993. I can't remember if Dougie Vipond was on drums, as I didn't know who the hell Dougie Vipond was then.
Biz
AyeDougie was pertty good on drums. The band played Chocolate girl, which raised a smirk, and Dignity, which raised the hairs on the back of my neck. Overall a bit namby pamby for my tastes, but they DID play exceedingly well. The support band SIX DAY RIOT were very interesting, the drummer had a Starclassic kit - heavy drums to lug aboot, but worth it for the sound.
