Alan Cynic
I think you'd enjoy it mr Bouma. He also has a grizzled, lived-in voice which is ace.

Humey Whilem
So what time is this and what's it gonna cost me?
Alan Cynic
The paper says 8pm, which is when I'm going to be there, but it'll probably be later. No word of entry price that I've seen.
Alan Cynic
Well, that was the best 7 quid I've spent this year! 2 great sets by Michael....Bob Bouma and I were gaining some useful tips from him. I had a wee chat with Michael after, and he told me the recordings with Thurston Moore & Jim O'Rourke are still ongoing, so that's one to look forward to:up:It was also nice being upstairs at the Lampie for the first time since the mid 1970s....and the decor is unchanged. Graeme
What was it like upstairs for a gig?
Alan Cynic
Tatty, but a nice atmosphere.....Mr & Mrs Bouma thought it would be perfect for a SQIK night. The bar wasn't open last night, so folk had to nip downstairs for drink. If it was open the place would be great for small gigs.....maybe up to 60 folk?
