Biz
AyeValentine are well worth a listen and look .Annie Christian are gods, one of the few bands I have paid to see on more than 6 occasions - superb lyrics and amazing technical ability as a band, WOW ,I hope I make it doon, but ,Evelyn Glennie is on at the Music Hall, och decisions decisions, I'll probably catch the last 10 fantastic minutes or something.

Guest idol_wild
hello. yes it's us : ) been a loooooong time since we played aberdeen. 2000, i think...I saw you at The Lemon Tree in 1998, I think. Your guitarist had just bought a packed shirt from McKays and it still had the creases from the packaging shape in it.Good gig, though. kingofdeon
It is still there. The old guy watches you like a hawk as you float amongst the sea of 1970 Aberdeen wooly jumpers and Kangol hats....its great!
Swingin' Ryan
It is still there. The old guy watches you like a hawk as you float amongst the sea of 1970 Aberdeen wooly jumpers and Kangol hats....its great! The guy is terrifying. Me and a friend used to go in there a few years ago and try and buy tiny tight-fitting women's golf jumpers and he wouldn't sell them to us because they were for girls.I've never seen a shop assistant less keen to make a sale. He absolutely hates selling stuff.
Marsh
Larry Lean and co are still alive!Absolutely brilliant news you guys have got back together - original line up as well. Great stuff. Listening to the new stuff and it's fucking brilliant - dare I say a return to form? Oh yes, "American Pornography" is hitting the spot. Classic annie c. (loving the continued use of no capitals.) Twilight has been a mainstay on my stereo for almost a decade now - how time flies. My sis and i were just saying the other day what a fantastic L.P. it is with no low points! Also noticed the majority of my ipod top 25 is made up of annie c b - sides! Best described as "lovely stuff." Not my words - the words of Shakin' Stevens!Anyway, enough of the tribute - I'm remembering the magical gigs at the Lemon Tree -The sheer joy when you told me the Other Way had a Joy Division cover on the back of it! Still my favourite J.D. cover ever. I'll have to dig out the old white annie c. t - shirt! Chances of it fitting now - 0%!Debut gig ticket - If only gigs were this good value nowadys! And what a support!http://www.aberdeen-music.com/galleries/files/2/5/1/6/anniecticket_106712.jpgAlso got the Love This Life single signed that night - haha! http://www.aberdeen-music.com/galleries/files/2/5/1/6/anniecsigs.jpgIt'll be worth a fortune on Ebay one day!Really looking forward to seeing you guys again. And It's on my Birthday so please don't forget to play a couple of old tunes along with the newies! Would be a brilliant present!Never looking the other way
laurencelean
Hey Marsh, glad you like the new songs! Gonna play loads of old stuff. Up until about a month ago we hadn't played anything from Twilight for about 6/7 years (fuck, I feel old). Not sure how long a set we'll get though. I guess we'll keep playing 'till we get kicked off : ) Any birthday requests?I'm definitely saving pennies for Mr McKay's shop. He threw our drummer out once for looking at a shirt that was obviously too small for him! Can't wait to go back....
Marsh
Any birthday requests?Time permitting it would make my 28th if you could fit in Clearwater Goldmine and Nothing is Real! Any "old stuff" will be appreciated, however! I hope Chris still has his echo & delay pedals! Looking forward to hearing the new stuff as well so it's all gonna be good (If you haven't been abducted by Mr. McKay earlier in the day!)Cheers, Larry. See you on the 27th.
