BTW why on earth would anyone want to mimic ELO?
lord summerisle
We could spend hours debating "who sounds like who" - let's face it, you have to be a pretty special band/performer if you're blindingly original and don't wear your influences on your sleeve(s). But hey, they sound pretty much like most of the melodic power pop bands that were popular during the mid-to-late 70s (damn! now I'm doing it!). Their album's shit, in my opinion - once you get past the singles you're left with 3rd-rate Jeff Buckley-isms.
lord summerisle
Musicians doing bad Jeff Buckley impersonations? Whatever next? (ahem.......might actually have been involved in that sort of thing myself.....possibly.....mutter, mutter)
