medichi
Always a name I've heard, but had always disregarded 'cos I don't really "get" grind.Just listened to a few tracks offa their myspazz sitefrom Phantom Limb - it sounds fucking ace, but not what I expected - much more "straight ahead", less blasts etc - will probably pick up the album tomorrow,Have they changed sound? Teabags
Every album is different in some way or another. 38 Counts of Battery is pretty much straight-forward grind. Prowler in the Yard was a bit more experimental, Terrifyer was a bit more metal, then this one is just....I can't really put my finger on it. medichi
So if I like Phatom Limb (which I do), I'd also like....Terrifyer?
Teabags
To be honest I think if you don't "get" grindcore yet like Phantom Limb in its entirety, you'd like Terrifyer even more.

medichi
I think it's cos the grind-y stuff is mainly short blasts of chaos, with loads of Mastodon-esque riffy metal bits. All rather fucking loverly though. Will check out Terrifyer forthwith....

Teabags
to be honest medichi, you'd prob quite like Prowler in the Yard in all. Perhaps not all of it but theres some complete beauties on it I'm sure you'd love, in particular, Starbelly, Hyperviolet, Piss Angel, Junkyard God, Trojan Whore.YouTube - Pig Destroyer - Piss Angel << from Prowler in the Yard
