get lost
I was surprised at the one in Wynesses, was in there with my dad, not the sort of place you expect to hear Biffy Clyro and QOTSA
Teabags
the kittybrewster has a surprisingly good selection of sabbath, slayer, rainbow etc.
Lemonade
The Mains of Scotstown in Bridge of Don is full of obscure American emo bands (well they're obscure to me, Bob seems to know them all). Loads of decent alternative and indie stuff as well. Strange, for what's essentially an old man's pub in the suburbs.
Teabags
the mains is a weird place.but the ghetto of the B.O.mofuckin D! is a classy place to be.
Sue Denim..
There's pros and cons to the Moorings and the Wigs jukeboxes. I love putting obscure tracks on in the Tilted wig but hate having to drink there to hear it. I also love the Moorings because you can work out how long before your song comes on by pressing 'Queue'. (and you can gazzump the queue if you're a rich offshore worker with a pocket full of pound coins!)
Alan Cynic
Having been upstairs at the Blue Lamp last night for the first time in 30 years I discovered the jukebox's guilty secret.....it's a Dorian Gray scenario where there's a twin jukebox of the downstairs one languishing upstairs in a state of disrepair which has been cannibalised to keep the other one looking young & vibrant!
