KarmaTsunami
Bloody brilliant. I'm still an emotional wreck. It's inspiring to see such good British film-making. The acting was spot on with absolutely everyone turning in stellar performances...the cinematography was amazing...Although, for all the hype surrounding Knightley's performance (and don't get me wrong, she is very good), she's not actually in it that much...McAvoy was amazing, he just keeps getting better and better...I'll probably post something with less hyperbole when I've calmed down, but I can see several Oscar nods and possible wins...and a few definite BAFTAs
Larsen B
I was in the same screen as you. I wasn't so blown away. I guess it's the book and not just the film to blame, but i found the the odd structure of the narrative to be purely for emotional manipulation. Performances i thought were pretty solid by all actors.
Johnny Mac
I got dragged to see this at the weekend.I'm not really into period drama, but I quite enjoyed parts of it. The different perspectives from different peoples views were good.
