He has lived in New York City, New Jersey and is now based in Scotland's capital, Edinburgh. He has prostituted his skills in various musical happenings, mainly from the back of a mixing console or the mastering of classical recordings, preferring until now to be behind the microphone or at the controls he has also worked with various musicians from members of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra to recording heavy rock bands. During time out from recording others, much music was tried and tested and it was clear that this was the time to act.Steve's debut release 'All Things Real' was born in mid 2004 from these sessions. Friends, musicians (Doug MacDonald, Naomi Van Noordennen, Dave Biddulph, Simon McGlynn, Helena MacGilp and Maggie Cripps) contributed parts and in late 2005 the recording was mastered by Calum Malcolm. All Things Real was released in March 2006.Sunday Times - Record of the week: "The secret lies in the gap between Adey's main influences: on the one hand, the mournful, home-made alt-country of Oldham and Smog; on the other, the pristine atmospheres of the Blue Nile and Talk Talk. Its into this gap that Adey pours his music, acknowledging both sets of influences, but sounding like neither. If you like the people Adey likes, you'll welcome his arrival." Sunday Times - Top 40 songs of 2006 - Shelter from the Storm: "Youd have to be a fool to cover one of Dylans best-loved songs. Either that, or a singer with the presence and presence of mind to slow it right down, exposing the beauty of every syllable." http://www.myspace.com/steveadeyhttp://www.steveadey.comEARLY SONGSEarly Songs is the work of Glasgow's David Scott. Disarmingly spare, debut album Wind Wounds pastoral atmosphere is generous in scope and warmth. With the resonance of country, blues, folk and emotive territories mapped out by the likes of Dirty Three, David's guitar playing swoons and breaks, aching with drama and tenderness, also going on more light-fingered, breezy trails.http://www.myspace.com/earlysongsSTEVEN MILNESteven writes songs and sings and plays guitar/ keyboards. A solo gig from The Little Kicks front man currently attracting a LOT of music business attention. Bigger things beckon!http://www.myspace.com/stevenmilnemusic
