can anyone recommend some songs for me to learn in this tuning on an acoustic?

my acoustic was tuned to DADGAD for learning 'the sad waltzes of pietro crespi' by owen

but i'd rather take full advantage of how it's tuned and learn some more tunes.

anyone any ideas?

I never learned to play! I never learned to tune! And look where it got me!

Stuck, in the office, whilst everyone has gone home, whilst my guitar gathers another coating of dust....

Love's Holiday

When I went down to see ISIS (YHAAAAS!) wi ma pals a band called Love's Holiday were supporting. It was just 2 Oxbow members (vocalist and guitarist - with a Martin) playing acoustic songs. Occasionally, during the set, my gaze was drawn from the huge frontman (who was by the way stripping and having a VERY public 'me time' on stage) to the guitarist. He was playing in DADGBD. His change from playing 'rhythm' parts to more lead orientated parts was pretty cool and he made good (and tasteful) use of harmonics. due to my tonally inept ear i havnt worked much out. but it's good stuff nonetheless.
