Al Coholic
What type of bridge does yours have? Mine came with a roller bridge that was balls, replaces with a bar bridge. Added a custom made "Chet" guard for my ultimate Gretsch!Thats funny you mention it, mine came with a roller type bridge as well which i did not like, so i replaced with a standard Gotoh Tune-O-Matic bridge. As in: It works but you have to be easy on the strings when fingerpickling, or you'll knock the strings out of the saddles. Still looking to try other options like the bar you have. The pickguard was originally gold colour, i sprayed it black.. Your 6119 looks great by the way.
Guest DustyDeviada
Well that was the reason I got rid of the roller bridge. I fingerpick pretty much exclusively and the strings popping out were a complete pain in the arse. It made it ungigable actually, it was embarassing having a string pop out in the middle of a solo. No problems so far with the bar bridge though.
