It will be a slightly expanded K.Cynics for this one (and not just a growing beergut!). There will be loops...there will be drones....there will be strings :)

Look to the north a quick mile yonder, look to our Yggdrasil-barree, look to the saxon chasing viking, look to the norman chasing saxon, look to the German chasing German German German German German?

I'll probably be at this.

who's playing in opaque at this gig?

Opaque at this gig will consist of:

Lee Cummings (Kylie Minoise, Kovorox Records)

Sinky (Temple of Static Christ, WWCat)

Rory Sanachen (Nackt Insecten)

John Cromar (Noma)

Alastair Crosbie (Solo Glasgow musician - highly recommend his stuff if you haven't heard it)

I think that's right.

AWWFN is run by Al fae Tetsuo, though i think most of the above have had releases on that label in one form or another

is not about time Tetsuo played here again ?

I wanna see Temple of Static Christ.

Well since all three members will be there you can ask them to reform.

Hey Rory can you confirm the story I heard the other day about Opaque being Thurston Moores "favourite music for listening to while cycling round New York"?

Have fun in Europe.

Hah! Yes actually, I can confirm that for you - he told us he loves listening to Opaque while he's cycling around on his bike.

Each to their own like, I'm more of a Steely Dan kinda road-user personally. You gonna provide some wheels for optimum enjoyment at the gig Donny? We're not really into playing for pedestrians so much these days.

I will be providing each member of Opaque with a quad-bike and personal cd player that will have a copy of ZZ Top's Eliminator glued into it. They will have to play the gig while utilising both of these devices. Mystery transport for the audience will be supplied on the evening.
