Anti Product + Onion Terror + No Soucis

Anti Product - www.antiproduct.com

What better way to start a tour than in The Moorings Bar? Returning after their packed show last year, please join us in quaking nervously at the return of Alexs Amazonian circus of fire-breathing rock mutants from the planet POP.

AntiProduct is a rock 'n' roll band consisting of five people (three boys, two girls), born in four different countries on three different continents, that cannot boast of sounding, being or looking like any other band...ever! Their independently released second album, "MADE IN USA", has garnered AntiProduct rave reviews from mags as diverse as Q, Spin, Rolling Stone, Big Cheese, and heavy metal heavyweight Kerrang!.

Combining elements of punk, arena rock, metal, and hyperbolic radio friendly pop played with a nihilistic contempt for everything safe and average, AntiProduct is fast becoming one of the most talked about bands in the rock 'n' roll underground worldwide. The near legendary AntiProduct live experience ("Britains Best Live Band," raves the Daily Mirror) has seen them tour the UK, Japan, USA, and most of Europe several times with Ozzfest, Twisted Sister, The Muderdolls, The Wildhearts, The Damned and Mindless Self Indulgence - as well as literally hundreds of headline stints all their own.

Currently working on material for their third album with multi-Platinum Grammy Winning producer Sylvia Massy (Johnny Cash, Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, System of a Down and Tool to name a few) in both the US and the UK, their relentless DIY touring schedule (averaging over 150 shows a year) has built the band a devoted and rabid worldwide following whose dedication is renowned to rival the band's itself. Explaining their reputation for aberrant public behaviour and shameless manipulation of all things media as "ridiculing the same system you exploit," AntiProduct has blocked London rush hour traffic by getting naked on top of a van while driving through the streets; been bathed in urine while wearing raw, festering meat for a Kerrang! Halloween feature (it was the biggest selling issue in Kerrang!s history); been sick on England's most hated celebrity radio DJ/mogul, Chris Evans

Whats more, The Guinness Book of World Records considers their single The Better Than This Maxi-Single Box Set the longest single in history, clocking in at 55 minutes and featuring 16 tracks, and AP is regularly called on by Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Marky Ramone to perform chaos inciting sets of AntiProduct versions of Ramones classics with Marky himself playing drums. Theres even of a Marky Ramone/AntiProduct LP in the works! Its like they never stop! Do they even sleep?

Every bio on myspace seems to be an overzealous exaggeration, written by the band's best friend, making them out to be the greatest thing since free tits on television. The fact is that we don't have any friends, and no band in the world are better than tits on the TV. We write our songs, play our gigs, dance like tools, and love every minute.

But what do you sound like, we ask? Like the person who wrote all the 70s porno music took up writing pop-rock tunes, they reply quickly. Influences, we probe? The Living End / Bloodhound Gang / Unwritten Law / Zebrahead / DVDA / Fenix TX.

Im not sure, but theres probably not a huge amount of Experimental French Hiphop in Aberdeen, and thats got to be a bad thing: French sounds supercool, especially in a soul-funk-hip-hop context. Its probably not what you expected as a warm-up for Anti-Product, but we say FUCK IT!, its going to be bloody fabulous night, the boundaries are there to be smashed, man.

No Soucis is a multimedia project based in Aberdeen, Scotland. The general aim of the group is to showcase the wealth of talent that exists in our small corner of the world. Initially based around the formation of a 12 piece Experimental French Hiphop Collective, their shows aim to involve local DJ's, emcees, musicians and dancers that would not normally work together. These unique and exiting spectacles will be filmed and become part of a documentary. Anyone wishing to be involved in this project should get in touch with them.
