Anyone selling a (good) amp?

Okay,

1) What type of music will the amp be used for?

2) Does it need to have switchable channels, if so how many?

3) What speaker set up - 1x12, 2x12 etc?

As I said, I might be selling my 70's Marshall Artiste Combo c/w

1) 4 inputs (High/Low)

2) Non switchable channels

3) Reverb

4) 2x12 set up

5) Casters (yes...casters which are removable)

6) Does clean very well, needs pedals for dirt.

:laughing::laughing::laughing:

1) It'll sort of vary, to be honest! Some pop and some noise based stuff.

2) This doesn't really concern me too much, though the option would be nice

3) 2X12 would be preferable, again, doesn't concern me too much (if I found a good ampm that was 1X12 I'm not going to cry about it).

1)I'd only need one, but that sounds good!

2)As above, doesn't really concern me too much

3)I like reverb.

4)Hooray!

5)Casters would be handy

6)I'd be using some pedals to achieve fuzz/overdrive anyway.

Let me know if you do end up selling it!

3) Im sure the Aberdeen-music bandwidth can handle it, considering my post takes up less space than Dusty's signature.

Not you as well!

I have a 2x12 50w valve amp, and to be honest it's too loud for just about all gigs in Aberdeen, the only time I've had the volume above "2" was at an outdoor festival in Keith.

Nah, I like you signature. Although I better keep this post small, don't want to eat away at Aberdeen-music bandwith.

I am not selling an amp (good or otherwise) but I felt I had to express my gratitude to everyone involved in the making of what is a very, very amusing thread!

Although, one area that has been (crimefully ) neglected is the whole vintage/modern debate. If this could be included into the arguments, this thread may just make it into my bookmarks.
