Sam the Eagle
Tickets go on sale tomorrow for the 4th October show.I'm kinda surprised they are playing the music hall, I didn't think they were that big. I quite like a couple of their songs, good drunken background noise, but they all look like they need a good scrub.Hmmm.
Larsen B
Worse than the View and the Fratellis and surely not popular enough to be playing the music hall.

Skull Commander
More overhyped grubby little street urchins. Just what the world needs.
get lost
They are exactly what the world needs, compared to the stale Rock scene at the moment, They provide a good kick up the arse to alot of older bands
Guest Tam o' Shantie
er...really? i could have sworn they were dull, ugly, coma inducing typische indie pap, a carbon copy of the thousands of 'working-class indie rock' bullshit artists that already saturate the airwaves...etc. exactly what does this music bring to anybody? major labels will sign up any dull rock band at the moment peddled by 'rough' looking guys. wow, a tracksuit, how edgy. the fact of the matter is, most of these shit bands would be ignored about 5 years ago, when nobody cared about dull, badly played rock music by teenagers on 'council estates' and the like. have you seen their video? wow, working class, innit. how exciting for a middle class lad like me. life must be so tough for them suburbanites, i've gotta buy that record. Larsen B
I guess I am now wrong about them not being big enough to fill the music hall. The lead singer is such an idiot. He claims that working class people make the best music because more people can relate to it, being working class an all, despite the fact that more people are middle class than working class these days. He also seemed to suggest in an interview that all middle class people live in castles.
Guest bluesxman
Are they the ones with the rather ugly bloodhound-like blond singer who make music that sounds like a really bad Jam cover band?
Skull Commander
They remind me of Northern Uproar.
stuartmaxwell
these gigs get booked for venues like the music hall 6-8 months in advance for a reason. the people involved in arranging these gigs (agents, promoters et al) are smart and know that bands will be big in the months leading up to the gig. kingofdeon
If the lead singer (ugly as sin by the way) mentions "Cov" in one more interview i swear i will cut the boys tounge off.
Guest Tam o' Shantie
That would be this interview, yes?Ouch. What an absolute moron. Then again, as an 18 year old who has spent the last year + of his life on the road with a rock band, he's a pretty solid spokesman for the 'working man', right? fjm11
a band with great singles and an ok-ish album, definately going to be huge.seen them before in glasgow, was a good gig,but fears of a 'neddy' crowd arent unfounded, but not quite as bad as a twang crowd. Guest bluesxman
A-B-E-R-DEEN, A-B-E-R-DEEN, A-B-E-R-DEEN, repeat ad nauseum in monosyllabic grunting style as is also applicable to the chorus of that horrible Fratellis song.
