Guest treader.
bought a BOSS DD-3 Delay Pedal off eBay a few days ago.received it yesterday and have found it doesn't work.tried a different lead at either end in case it was them at fault. no difference.the red light comes on so it's not the battery.basically, the pedal works fine but...there's no delay.anyone got any ideas what it might be??? or know how i could fix it??it'll teach me for buying stuff off ebay i spose, but even so...any help would be ace. Guest DustyDeviada
Sounds like it's just broke, contact the seller and say you want a refund.
Sam 45
Have you checked all the obvius stuff? Like, it not being on hold mode, or the pedal level is too low ect.
Guest treader.
how do i know if the level is too low?
Sam 45
how do i know if the level is too low?If the nob on the left it turned to the extreme left. Turn all the nos just past center to the right hand side and set the delay to 800. If it doesnt delay, then aye, yer pedal is probably fucked. Guest treader.
looks like it's fucked then.no idea how or why. =[
Alan Cynic
Also obvious,.....but try replacing the battery. I know the red light is on, but I've bought a couple of Marshall pedals recently, and the batteries in them only lasted about 1 min (no joking)...possibly been lying about the shop for ages. The lights were on, but the effect was dying....one new battery later and all was well. Worth trying, just in case.

Guest treader.
the seller had 100% positive feedback.he says he tested it before posting it and it was fine.although his packing effort was notably poor.

Paul G
I bought one of those from cash converters yonks ago - it's seriously temperamental. Refuses to work every so often, then changes its mind for no visible reason. total mystery

You'll pick one up nae bother and if I get the DD-6 that I've put an offer in for, I'll sell you mine (DD-3) - and you can see/hear it working.
