Guest bluesxman Posted July 27, 2007 Report Share Posted July 27, 2007 First time I've seen PVH's new stuff, think I need to see them again to absorb it properly because it was such a change from what I'm used to with them, but it was good. One song reminded me of Butthole Surfers a bit. Other instrumentals reminded me of something too but I canna think what.Vom were ace but pretty much sounded akin to Dead Kennedys circa 'Plastic Surgery Disasters' minus vocalist. I think it was the guitar sound that reminded me of them so much.Duracell was extremely impressive in terms of drumming ability but at the end of the day it was a bloke playing drums along to computer game music that I was unfamiliar with and so perhaps it never meant as much to me as others.
