Lemonade
I saw Certain Death at Drakes a few years ago, they were fucking brilliant. Kind of similar to Capdown, with two lead singers going back and forth. Loads of energy. I hope they do well.

RossP
Good on all bands After seeing Shutter play Drummonds last week, i have a feeling they will destroy the competition on their night...I just hope the usual rumours about who are "already through" etc don't surface! The first time I saw them at Drakes was definitely one of the best things I saw at the Doc's. Wouldn't ever compare them to Capdown though!! They're nae ska!But lovely stuff nontheless. I meant due to the thumping drums and fast loud bass and stuff.
Jim Stax
That time of year again. Jeez, where's my life going.Conspiracy theories will no doubt raise their heads, usually by frineds of bands that don't get through. Pretty much all nonsense. There are new bands that play the T Break stage by invite and don't go through the heats. Undoubtadely the judges will have favourites but there a few judges...The 120 back handers that Atom Flask and Staccato Set gave in the past helped our cuase though

We should have paid 160 this would have ensured punters walk 'into' the tent and not past it, unless it's chucking it down...Scottish weather, the unsung hero of unsigned bands
