son henry electric blues band

www.myspace.com/sonhenry

"Ex-Alaskan, now living in Scotland, Son Henry is, quite simply, a musician that lives and breathes the blues. However, that comes as no surprise to the legions of faithful. They know to turn out in all kinds of weather so they can be close to the fire generated every time this man picks up a guitar. In Alaska where the bars sometimes never close, he's been know to hold an audience until the sun-lit hours of the next morning when they really should be at home getting dressed for work.

He's made a startling range of styles his own, from deep soulful delta blues to loping Texas Shuffles and all points in between. Original tunes that sound like they were written in decades past. But be warned- it's when the lap steel guitar comes out that you need to stand back."

"I guess this is where we should be writing that we are 'the saviours of rock n roll' with our 'super sonic turbo action mental rip n roll extravaganza from moterfucking hell music' and that we are 'the most energetic band on stage since the stooges'... ..so we did."

guile

www.myspace.com/guilemusic

"Think of The Doors, The Velvet Underground and Johnny Cash via Nirvana and the Jesus and Mary Chain and youve not only begun to capture the driving influences behind Guile, but their ability to create original and empowering music.

Despite being formed in the deepest, darkest depths of Cannock, an old coalmining town in Staffordshire; Guiles founder members, brothers Neal and Jon Sawyer together with bassist Adam Shaw, have worked away tirelessly in their infamous lock up, perfecting their own unique brand of loud and proud rock n roll narkotika.

April and May will see the band embark upon on a massive six-week tour calling into every corner of the UK. Leaving behind a boom of awe and further predictions of their imminent rise to the top."

(Life is too short and we're gettin old, apart from our wee drummer chap!), if your one of those listed, please leave now!, if not, pull up a chair, open a beer, light a smoke, have a pogo, bang yer head off a wall etc!"

clear blue skys

www.myspace.com/clearblueskies

"Clear Blue Skies are a four-piece band hailing from Northumberland in the North East of England, bringing you their own unique style of finger-picking country-rock. Lyricist and lead singer Derek Allan has been writing songs with guitarist and music-maker Matty Pringle for almost ten years. In 2003 they were joined by Dereks brother, the outstanding JP Allan on drums and king of the bass, Eddie. Dereks passionate lyrics, combined with Mattys jaw-dropping riffs and the dynamic rhythm of JP and Eddie make up the feel-good phenomenon that is Clear Blue Skies.

National acclaim was achieved by appearing on Channel 4s Popworld in March of this year. Thanks to their Popworld appearance, 2007 will see them perform at major venues around the UK. This year has also seen the Clear Blue Skies single I enter the UK Bands top twenty, along with Koopa, The Arctic Monkeys, Muse and The Zutons. All this, combined with the release of their new album Wake Up Dreaming, a tour of the USA in the pipeline and their usual blend of sheer hard work and determination to succeed, will make Clear Blue Skies unstoppable in 2007 and beyond."

One lucky punter will get a Golden Ticket from Longhorn at the gig. Upon receipt it will entitle the lucky fucker to a trip to our van to ahem, "talk to our agent", and experience one of our secret bonding rituals.

Think L7 mixed with a German Schizer movie. With raw beef curtains.
