HairyScaryMark Posted April 20, 2007 Report Share Posted April 20, 2007 Bands that are causing me to concider goingDragonforce - saw them in Aberdeen and wouldn't mind seeing them againMegadeth - wouldn't mind seeing them.Slayer - saw them at donnington and is guarenteed to be fairly consistant.Turisas - this band are amazing, folk/battle metal with an accordian player, fiddler amongst other things, they often wear kilts and animal skins.Dream Theater - hope they get a long set, my favourite band of all time.Iron Maiden - Hope they play at a time where I can see all of Dream Theater's and Iron Maiden's set.Bands I also wouldn't mind seeing.Korn - saw them in the SECC and it did little for me but wouldn't mind seeing them in a differnet venueMachine Head - sort of interests me.Shadows Fall - don't think they are badWithin Temptation - concidered going to see them in Glasgow but never got round to doing anything about it. Dimmu Borguir - don't really know their recent stuff or are particualrly fond of them in general but would like to see them still.the 3rd stage seems to be designed for people who aren't me.The other part of my brain says go to a Festival in mainland europe such as Wacken or Gods of Metal which probably costs less and has a higher proportion of bands I like on the lineup.
