PICKLED DICK

"It may just be me, but I swear Pickled Dick get better with every passing release. Infact I'd go as far as saying they're one of the best pop-punk bands in the UK right now. PD, despite having one of the worst band names around, manage to make every single song as memorable as any chart hits, soaking their tracks in melody with the best backing vocals and harmonies of any band in this country. They just have this incredible knack to leave you humming songs for hours on end - the perfect compliment I could ever give a pop-punk band."

State Of Affairs

"One thing is for sure if State of Affairs are not playing better slots in the future, something is wrong with the music industry. They play an incredibly infectious mix of indie tinged punk, and were tight, with a genuine vibrance that shined throughout the performance. Songs such as Youre Not Listening, Disengage and Confront Your Fear may only give a brief glimpse of what they are capable of, but have a quality that rewards repeat listens. State of Affairs see them now, youll be paying a lot more to see them later."
