Jim Stax
Amy will be releasing her new ep 'Between A Canvas Sky And A Cardboard Sea'. To add to the joy Amy has invited along a few choice acts: Staccato Set will be making a rare Aberdeen appearance before disappearing for a while to write and record, Lorenzo Snow Collective will be pounding out the Alt Countryesque riffs one more time before going global and Delawair will be supplying sublime acoustic renditions of all their forthcoming hits. Separating all of this with a selection of disks that will have all doing the 'Slosh and line dancing' will be Graeme Duncan of Interesting Music mythology, to be aided by Alun Hughes, if he gets back from Paris in time. All of this will be introduced live by the inimitable Nick Casino who will bring a Rat Pack sparkle to this rare evening.

Jim Stax
'Slosh and line dancing' Perfecto. I'm glad I bought that Jimmy Shand CD in Edinburgh today!I actually believe that... You gonna mix in some beats?I'm going to add here that this will be the last time Staccato set will be appearing live for sometime, not that we play much anyways, and certainly the last time most of the soon to be 'back catalogue' will be heard in the live arena (over use of muscal terminology?). Once Ziggy is famous with FOUND we will be wedging our way further into the music industry as Zig's underground side project... I'll be dusting down my big sparkly buckle, stetson, tight jeans and gingham cowboy shirt special Graeme... It's been hours since I wore them last!Jim

I'm worried nowIf he came to this I could spin a Fiddlers Bid tune (it would go well with Jimmy Shand anyway). Do you think that that would keep the Sheltland twit happy? Oops, I hope I haven't started an international outcry due to racism!

Jim Stax
Brilliant... heheheWhat with the 'Big Bovver' racist fiasco and now this 'Iocal music promters battle of wills that can only end in tears. I'm immigrating to a country where music is loved for being music, and there are no fiddles! It has always been said that, Religion, borders and Fiddles are the route cause of all wars! Humey Whilem
Now that was 'godallejezusteringtof'!! REALLY enjoyed all bands. In fact, every one of them made me want to charge the stage, grab someone's guitar and play along. Shit that was good.
nullmouse
GAAAAH! Bloody Air France, overselling the flight by _at least_ 8 places on a 50 capacity flight meant I was stuck in the CDG airport Sheraton Hotel instead of being at this no doubt wonderful evening. My mood has not been helped by delays getting the flight home this morning.Hope all went well, that it was a blinder and that I wasn't missed *too* much
Guest idol_wild
Sadly, and frustratingly, I missed Delawair.Lorenzo Snow Collective were fucking magnificent, though.Someone sign them and pay them money to release songs and play live.
