Guest DustyDeviada
Fairly certain the current Melody Makers don't come with scratchplates as standard, but easy enough to buy one. Also, if it was a Junior it should have a wraptail. Was in Sound Control in Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago and they were flogging these Melody makers for 400, but they have the faded/satin finish which feels cheap and crappy to me. Think I'll stick with my R4 for all my P90 needs.
Jeid
Poor blair, that sucks. Damn the icey roads this far north.I'm with the suggestion of P-90s although I'm not sure of those Squiers. I'd maybe look into an SG special of some description.
Guest DustyDeviada
How about this cool Jazzmaster with humbuckers?Excite ƒGƒLƒTƒCƒg –|– : ‰pŒ–|–„ƒEƒFƒuƒy[ƒW–|–Works out at under 300, but by the time you added shipping from Japan and duty it would probably cost around 400 in total. citizens_X
Stock Jaguar/Jazzmaster bridges are indeed terrible, that is why I bought one of these:...It copes with down tuning just fine, mine is currently tuned down to C and I have no problems with that.I think this would be an ideal replacement:up:
