Swingin' Ryan
I thought they'd be a fairly safe bet to pack out the AECC?
PaulDW
Very surprised that its not the aecc... They ab packed out an arena tour across UK... and are now playing music hall... Oh well...

framheim
Very surprised that its not the aecc... They ab packed out an arena tour across UK... and are now playing music hall... Oh well...it's a smaller venue tour going to the places their arena shows missed out. the tour's called up close and personal because it's a chance to see them at a smaller venue. ash.
yep, they're playing smaller venues around the uk as a thank you to the fans who can't make it to the arenas. might head along to dundee caird hall as well...
PaulDW
Fair play to whoever thought this up... Good idea for the fans.
RF Scott
yep, they're playing smaller venues around the uk as a thank you to the fans who can't make it to the arenas. might head along to dundee caird hall as well...Thanking fans for not coming to shows?! Whatever next, thanking fans for not buying their album?!
ash.
not everyone can manage to get to the arenas, seeing as they're many hours away... i think it's good that they're doing this, gives a hell of a lot more people a chance to see them live. can you think of many other arena bands going round the uk playing music hall-esque venues? PaulDW
Plus theres only so many tickets for so many places... When the whole of scotland often has to fight for tickets to one glasgow arena gig, people will lose out. So I think this is a very good idea... And something I would love to see other acts doing. And the way their previous gigs sold out in muties... I certainly don't think they have a problem attracting a crowd.
Bodast
Waw!! And April 7th isn't in term time. Super good
Swingin' Ryan
It's a really good idea, it's infinitely better seeing a band in a smaller, proper music venue, as opposed to a soulless aircaft hanger where you can eat burgers while watching a band. framheim
i think it's all seating which might explain how it sold out so fast. the capacity must've been reduced a fair whack. we managed to get two tickets though, score!
