"A voice and writer to watch." Times Online

Evoking Micah P Hinson and Bruce Springsteen, Glasgow troubadour Grant Campbell is an inner-city cowboy, a brambly folk Romeo: a quiet delight to behold! He blends his beautifully enchanting voice and lyrics into acoustic bliss.

"He may be a little country, a little bit rock'n'roll, but all of his songs have an emotional honesty that cuts straight to the heart." The Herald

Grant has recently supporting artists such as Alison Moorer, Mary Gauthier, The Handsome Family,Johnny Dowd and Odetta and was choosen to perform at the Big Big Country, Triptych and GoNorth Festivals in 2006.

Debut album "Postcards from Nowhere" is currently released on Luna Records.

"13/13...this is one of the best debuts of years passed, a real hidden treasure that must be found by all." Daniel Bristow (Room Thirteen)

"[Postcards from Nowhere] is a gentle, exquisite exposition of amber ranch canticles and scorched alt-folk lullabies: it is unadorned, potent, gruff and wonderful. Triptych 06

Longstanding Folk/Psych practitioner Alan Davidson aka The Kitchen Cynics and Dead Fly Buchowski guitarist Rory McIntyre will be providing the support. They have recently finished work on a series of recording together so this is a rare opportunity to see them perform together.

Nice one Alan - Im looking forward to hearing you play your songs together!

Should be a grand evening!

Grant's just the man to help you forget the weather/Christmas shopping etc. I'm also looking forward to hearing Rory again...he's always been enjoyable. I remember being impressed by Snood at Drakes, but his solo stuff is lovely.

It'll be fun doing some of the songs we wrote 'live' for the first time!
