Im beyond hope huh?

Yes, you are.

On topic - anyone who says 'the bomb' to describe something good, and people who overuse all forms of Americanisation: eventually it will provoke me into a 'Michael Douglas in Falling Down' type killing spree using the closest available items of equipment manufactured by Black & Decker.

DeWalt power tools are so much better. Plus they have less hand/arm vibration at top RPM which means no CPT/ligament damage dependent on the duration of your killing spree.

My dad's a builder by trade though and mainly specialises in B&D tools, however there is a very nice Bosch power drill which looks like it would drill a hole in the skull with effervescent ease.

And their power sander for skin removal like no other.....

If your dad is a builder he should know to stay well clear of that Black and Decker pish.

Next week: I've also got cancer, rabies, AIDS, and pnuemonia if you're thick enough to believe what you read on the Ascension board.

Best of luck on your big upcoming gig in Inverness with 'Clearer The Sky', 'Ashes Of Pale', 'Silence Kills All', and 'Absence Of Presence', I look forward to the two page spread in the NME.......

Aww thanks man. Didn't have you down for an NME reader.

Yeah Inverness is cool. Seem to be building a nice little fanbase there. They are all really cool up there and we sold quite a bit of merch. Good luck on making your next cassette recording and posting it to some far flung eastern european country...no, seriously. Good luck with that one.

No surprise there: you look like a paedophile, you might as well act like one.....

are you telling me that you lied about having a serious life-threatening medical condition?

No, I told you I had a heart condition. Which makes all of Rinky's previous deliveries about as cutting as a Steve Harmison loosener.....

Recently overused words I have noticed inlclude

'like' useage, "you guys are like so totally like...." (people use that word at the end of sentences here so it is even more annoying when overused, in this area).

'random' useage, "That was so random"

'harsh' - "oh that was harsh"

The word 'rough' almost became really popular but couldn't make a real dent in the popularity of 'harsh'.

'skeppy' "an he waz goin like al skeppy" I am told this is short for 'skeptical' but the common useage makes no sense, if that is the case.

'bint' (I don't even know).

Variations of the word 'trippy' have also became really popular for no reason. People should be allowed to be weird, even though they haven't taken drugs. Why do they have to be accused of "trippin oot, min"?

Referring to everyone as 'guys'. Just stop this. If you can't be bothered remembering someone's name, just call them 'Dave'. Much better idea.

I know it's not new but it annoys me anyway .... 'yous' commonly pronounces a 'yis' or 'yooooose'

Also notice people from up north i.e banf, frasebourgh etc. calling everyone 'chief'. I quite like this term so I wont moan about this.

I think that use of the word jokes is awesome actually. Incorrect or not. It's incorrect to take smoke into the lungs but we still do it.

I wouldn't say it's incorrect. It's not as though lights flash and a buzzer informs you of your shameful mistake. It's just that you're a fucking moron, and if you'd had any sense you'd have topped yourself and brought down anyone like yourself before you go. Easy!

PS I don't equate 'you' with bladeola, before anyone gets cranky, I mean it by the definitions bladeola gave...

I don't have any really hated 'sayings'. At the end of the day it's just individual mannerisms. I'm finding some of the comments on here more hateful to be honest. Amazing to find so many people with a perfect grasp of the Queen's English in one place, who never use slang in any form. Incredible.

I am guilty as charged but I don't think I use them in a patronising way. At least I hope not.

When I say boss, chief or squire it's usually to someone I know quite well.

Think I'll stop using them now...

Why? Just because someone on here says out they don't like it? Wise up my man, be yourself!
