I really liked the last book I read by Camus called The Outsider, but he went mad with this one I'm trying to read. Mad.QUOTE]

The Outsider is probs my favourite book though I've only read it once, I was thinking about reading some more by him but I might not after all!

Today I finished The Closed Circle by Jonathan Coe (good but not as good as the prequel) and now I think I'll read Fathers and Sons (Turgenev) or a French book I found on my bookshelf which appears to be about a train. Or something else? Oh.. but first I think I'll read the Great Gatsby so I can help my little sister with her PSU.

I love it when term ends and I can read whateeever I like.

Just read Don Winslow's "The Winter of Frankie Machine" which was a fun read. A slow build that leads to a stunning, fast-moving crescendo. Currently have Richard Brautigan's "Revenge of the Lawn" on the go, and I'm about to start "Neuromancer" by William Gibson.

I'm currently reading a book I picked out of the offshore library about a Dwarf and his human sidekick slaying all sorts of evil creatures.

I thought it'd be shite but as it turns out.... it's quite a hoot.

Gotrek and Felix ... Trollslayer / Skavenslayer / Daemonslayer ..

by William King.

... and I believe the word 'hoot' is under-used and should be heard more often.

I've not been reading much in the way of books over the past few years but recently i picked up a few here and there and i now have a number to work my way through:

The Sword and The Grail- Andrew Sinclair

The Secret Scroll- Andrew Sinclair

Rosslyn- Andrew Sinclair

Casino Royale- Ian Fleming

From Russia With Love- Ian Fleming

The Naked Jape- Jimmy Carr & Lucy Greeves

It takes me flipping ages to read books these days though. I think i'm about 3/4s of the way through Rosslyn at the moment, next up is Casino Royale.

Currently reading Morbo by Philip Ball, a history of Spanish football at league and national level. Really well written, much more informative than the Culpepper book, and brings in the history of the nation on a more general level as well and how it feeds into the intense rivalries between clubs.
