Guest lime ruined my life Posted October 16, 2006 Report Share Posted October 16, 2006 The GTO is a low gain amp so unless they are getting their distortion from pedals then you may mean they are using the GTL - Once the definitive Stoner amp as Matamp sayif it's low gain then surely the amp/s will clip earlier, and overdrive sooner?i don't know much about the inner architecture of matamps though,Gain and overdrive arn't the same thing.
