YETI Posted October 12, 2006 Report Share Posted October 12, 2006 why bother with a cover.. it can be a crowd pleaser, but only if people know what it is! it just means you have to cut another one of your own songs out of your set. but if you have to do a cover, id say do something that hasnt been done before and make it metal. it can be done, nothing will get the crowd going more than a metal version of an abba song lol.agree, fully.how about a song that is NOT our style (unlike metallica and syl) and make it ours, some of the best covers were done by changing the style of a song for example the tetris theme tune done ska version, by Mr bungle it rocksi know that for you peeps is a bit difficult to get out of your narrow alley of metalness but there are 1000s of styles out there and just because You dont like them doesent mean tht peeps that do dont understand what real music is Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
