We've got potential gigs there over the coming months, and want to know if we need to hire-in any sound gear.Any info much appreciated.Cheers. Cloud Posted August 28, 2006 Report Share Posted August 28, 2006 From personal experience (from working there).If you've got a gig there, make sure that the sound engineer is sorted well in advance. I don't know much about PA's and so on - from what I can tell, it can do the job, but what they supply to outsiders is basically the knowledge of the manager - who knows where stuff plugs into and no more. I've seen soundchecks take ages because of it. I don't think they have any amps either - but the best bet is to ask the promoter I think it's a case of that they've got something that they don't know how to use, to be honest.
