britheguy
I've not done this with a 4x12, but I have with a 2x12. You need to take the back off then take the front out of the back of the cab if you know what I mean. There might be a few screws holding the front in place though, so these also need removed...from th eback.I hope this helps you
IamScrooge
you'll need to basically disassemble the whole cab...and I'm not sure if you'll be able to salvage your marshall logo (the one I did had the logo broken already). Then once you've got the front panel, where the speakers are mounted, off, you'll see that the crillcloth is wrapped around the panel and stapled on.Its not a big job but theres a lot of screws and most of them are at least 1.5" deep.Remember how to wire up your speakers again, you can just pull the tabs off the terminals on the back of the drivers. Jeid
I've hunted for hours for this. Don't say I'm a bad person. I done it this way and it's 100% spot on. Gives a good start to finish guide.http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?t=67452Bear in mind that the piping for your cab will probably be fitted inside the cab. This is for a 1x12" cab, but the principle is still the same.
