Paulscoconutass
I've just hooked up with Sky; getting the TV (all but sports & movies), tinkerphone & the mid broadband (40Gb limit) for 41 a month which isn't too bad. Only problem is that I signed up 1 month ago and they've only just posted the router because the demand is so high for their deal at the moment. Chris
The Sky deal is pretty tempting. I pay 24 a month for broadband just now and they're offering it for much less + Sky TV and free evening and weekend calls. Still have to pay BT line rental I understand but that's not much. Paulscoconutass
Quoted the wrong figure above, it works out at 26 per month without the sports and movie channels!!!! Bargain.Got the router through this morning and setting it up could not have been easier - initial performance is very good.
Jim Stax
Never had any problems with BT to be honest. 2nd that. Very fast and very reliable...There may be cheaper options but I don't mind paying a little extra for something I can trust.
allstardawn
to be honest i've been with three providers now (orange, sky and bt) and they're all pretty similar. the customer service obviously varies from company to company which is the main thing i guess, but the speeds and everything have been pretty similar. i orginainally had orange cause i had orange dial up but the service dropped out quite a lot, and they told me to phone bt to do a line test when i knew the line was fine cause a) i work for bt and got someone to check it and b) it was pefect for telephony. bt were good, but their customer service was appalling (ironic..) and now i'm with sky. no problems so far and it's free if you've got sky tv, so aye!
