13.00 + 1.50 booking fee

An all day, outdoors mini festival in the courtyard in front of venue/bar/record shop Mono in King Street, Glasgow Hey You...! aims to celebrate the culture and creativity of Glasgow as well as providing a super-cheap great day out for music-lovers of all ages.*

For those urban kids who think of outdoors as just where the car is, we hope to be able to tempt you into the cordoned-off courtyard with fresh air barbecues serving a wide range of edible goodies, quality draught beer at cooking lager prices, fruit smoothies, ashtrays and free reign to smoke and a large stage and PA with an incredible line-up including:

Arab Strap (gutteral, gruff lyrical poets, rightful kings of the scene) Herman Dune (Parisian underground heroes recently signed to EMI) Emma Pollok (Delgados songstress on brink of brilliant new solo career) 1990s (Rough Trade-rs and good timers) Uncle John & Whitelock (mainlining delta-blues from the River Clyde) Bricolage (Orange Juice-esque party starters) The Royal We (big band of girls and boys with fresh and original sound) Park Attack (experimental, loud, ascerbic: think Pere Ubu crossed with the Make Up)

For those who prefer their summers indoors we will have an extravagantly decorated Mono serving as usual, Monorail open to discerning record buyers as ever, and of course all the shops in Kings Court ( your guitar, vintage clothing, skateboard and posters needs shall be catered for!) and Dolly Mixture DJs playing music for you.

Tickets are 13 and may be subject to a booking fee.

Available from: Tickets Scotland Argyle St Glasgow and Rose St Edinburgh or on 0870 220 1116; Monorail Music Kings Court King Street Glasgow; Ripping Records South Bridge Edinburgh; Avalanche Dundas St Glasgow and Cockburn Street Edinburgh.

Fingers crossed for good weather, we really hope to see you there,
