I should've elaborated more, sorry.I really liked the style and tone, almost noir-ish in execution. It's more akin to the original graphic novels (which were quite dark, completely different from the 80's cartoon series). The story had a nice approach but suffered from dodgy villians (completely childish, non-scary monsters). Also I don't believe in hiring well known stars for voice-acting, just for the sake of it. Only do it if they can do a good job. Zhang Ziyi sounded completely out of place with her dodgy "Engrish."I described the film as "decent" because despite its flaws, I'm a Turtles fan and it was fun to watch.
