highlander
Anyone seen the george street rambler, normally picking ranom objects up like umbrella's and matresses and running around? Sometimes dresses in womans clothes. Just wondered if anyone else has seen this legendary figure or if i'm on my own?

Guest Jake Wifebeater
It's not the first time he's been mentioned on here. I don't think I've ever seen this guy, and I feel like I'm missing out. My guess is he's known to the psychiatric services, so I'll get digging.

highlander
aberdeen's got a few other legends too. There's the counteswells rambler guy who lives somewhere in the woods there, and one of my mates was telling me about a MASSIVE black guy who rides around on a kids bike.. Guest Jake Wifebeater
Dig through the archives on here, you'll find a 20-odd page thread about "Aberdeen celebrities".
Frosty Jack
Dig through the archives on here' date=' you'll find a 20-odd page thread about "Aberdeen celebrities".[/quote']Indeed. And that one was bad enough, we don't need another thread - especially not one singling out one particular person. Whatever his issues may be, it doesn't seem right making light of them on here.My guess is he's known to the psychiatric services, so I'll get digging. That bothers me. What exactly would you be digging for? Do you have the right to do that? And surely, surely you wouldn't be disclosing anything from your 'findings' here?? And surely' date=' [i']surely you wouldn't be disclosing anything from your 'findings' here??Well, he could be a former resident at my place of work. He may have stayed there before I started working there. I might have worked with him in the past myself in one of the other units I used to work in. So yes, I can do that. And no, there's no way in hell I'd mention it on here. So don't let it bother you. Don't make yourself busy.

EchelonDivision
I saw him wearing a skirt and dragging half of a hoover behind him, down on the Green.
Paulscoconutass
Aye, It appears he's into cross-dressing just now. I saw Dunc on union street in a dress with full make up. Aberdeen would be soooo bland without it's array of local tallent. I also saw a begging COUPLE yesterday, that's innovation beyond belief.
trippinoneastereggs
Aberdeen scares me a lot of the time. There are a lot of strange people around, the seaguls attack folk. Plus I got randomly smacked on John street by neds a few weeks ago, for daring to walk around the bus stop they were currently occupying.I've been a lot of places but never experienced such an array of oddities as I have here. Not slagging the place though. Lucius
The last time i saw Crazy Running Guy he was getting his photo taken with some tourists thus proving that Aberdeens large variety of oddities help contribute to the local economy by encouraging tourism. scottST
almost every time i come off the bus at the bus station, and head up the steps at RnB, he's there dragging something up the stairs....wearing a skirt or something!
HAREMSCARY
I walk past him most days when going to the gym or to and from college, but a few nights ago i seen him open a bin on George Street, and he said "shinny".What does he suffer from, does anyone know? RossP
According to one of the barmen at the Kings Highway, he was a normal bloke but got a hell of a kicking from someone which affected his brain somehow; resulting in his present confition.
