lepeep
I like kyuss, and I am not saying this to be "kewel" ,but I like them more than QOTSA.if anyone is interested (and didn't know), UNIDA, was the other split group from Kyuss, fronted by John Garcia.http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&searchlink=UNIDA&sql=11:tyv8b5m4msqj~T1
psydoll
'Coping With The Urban Coyote' is ace. ^Kyuss are a grower of a band, I was never that impressed overly upon first listen but the more I listened the more I liked. Well worth checking oot.

medichi
Kyuss are simply one of the greatest bands ever. Fuck QOTSA (Except the first album. And Rated R.)
Fast Caz
Kyuss are the gods of desert RAWK !!!!also check out Slo-burn i believe it used to have ex Kyuss members but they fucking rock non the less.
medichi
Slo-Burns "Amusing the Amazing" (or is it Amazing the Amusing?) is pretty hard to track down, and isn't as good as Unida. I hear Heramano are pretty good too (again, Garcia on Vox)
Fast Caz
Yeah Amusing the Amazing. Quality tuneage, i only have it on mp3 they have an ep out aswell but it is just tracks from the album.Hermano have some pretty catchy riffs ..... nothing great. Now Brant Bjorks album "Saved By Magic" , double disc album of the most chilled out grooves i've heard in ages.Quality. The Ghost Of Fudge
if we're talking stoner, it's all about Clutch
framheim
if we're talking stoner' date=' it's all about Clutch[/quote']obviously clutch are good, but they're no kyuss.
medichi
Erm, I'd say Clutch were pretty damn close - I reckon Kyuss get extra cool-age for splitting before most (any?) of us got to see them, but I've rarely seen a better show that the last Clutch gig I was at, and rarely hear a better album than Robot Hive or Blast Tyrant or PRF or Elephant Riders etc etc
Scootray
Clutch are also very good. I saw them at the Garage earlier this year.
