Alkaline Posted May 20, 2006 Report Share Posted May 20, 2006 I think its cosmopolitan to a certain extent i.e you can't have the wide range of ethnic backrounds that we do in aberdeen without absorbing some of those cultures. Although it does retain its scottish edge.George Street, for example, reminds me of a lot of streets in the suburbs of Melbourne, which is a very cosmopolitan city.
